Pillows, Prints, & Personality

Whether it’s a dorm room, apartment, or house, our spaces are certainly more than just where we eat and sleep! From bible studies with our friends, getting ready for formals with our roommates, or staying up late to study, so many of our favorite memories happen right in these spaces.

This semester, we’ve asked a few of our sisters to share the spaces and styles they’ve been loving lately. There are so many ways ADPi’s love to express themselves, and we draw on inspiration from places all over the world! It’s safe to say that ADPi loves bright colors, bold prints, and the perfect throw pillow. Here’s how a few of our members make their spaces feel like home!

MoMo Farmer | AC ’23

Her style in 3 words: vibrant, classic & fresh

Our own Chapter President, MoMo Farmer, absolutely loves a statement print! They are the perfect way to elevate any space that could use some color. She gets much of her decor inspiration from Laura Park and traditional Southern homes. Along with bright colors and fun prints, MoMo is a huge fan of fresh flowers and watercolor prints.

Maya Virginia Banton | AC ’24

Her style in 3 words: clean, classy & colorful

Virginia LOVES decorating with all shades of the color pink! From throw blankets, throw pillows, or uniquely shaped lamps, she finds a place for it all. Through Pinterest, Virginia has been loving statement pieces such as colorful vases and picture frames. The unique cross above her bed is designed out of painted shells!

Ellie Geyer | AC ’25

Her style in 3 words: organic, timeless & effervescent

One of Ellie’s favorite ways to decorate is by displaying unique items and prints from places she’s traveled and lived! From Italy, Costa Rica, Seattle (her hometown), and beyond. She loves fun patterns and vibrant collages. A lot of her inspiration comes from Elliston House and Lulu & Georgia. She is a huge fan of painting her own watercolor and framing it, along with prints of national parks. 

Anna Vinson | AC ’24

Her style in 3 words: preppy, bright & colorful

One of Anna’s absolute favorite items in her home are throw pillows! They elevate any space and come in so many fun prints and patterns. She gets a lot of her decor inspiration from Pinterest, which is a shared love of many of our members. Anna has been obsessed with greens, blues, and pinks for decorations along with anything striped! And natural light is always a preference when styling her spaces.
