Although we spend our summer in many different places, one thing was the same for all of us - we've been counting down the days until we're back together in Cola! From studying abroad in Italy to interning across the country, from working summer jobs to traveling with friends and family, to finding new favorite books and TV shows, our sisters have been making the most of the break.

We asked a few ADPi sisters to share their summer experiences. Whether you're one of our sisters catching up on everyone's adventures or a PNM getting excited for recruitment, we hope this gives you a little glimpse into the people who make our chapter feel like home!

Summer Highlights

There isn't just one “perfect” summer. For some of us, it was simply getting extra time with family and friends. Others spent their break checking things off their bucket lists!

Highlights included:

Studying abroad in Italy with the Darla Moore School of Business

Visiting friends in New York (and catching a Yankees game!)

Spending weekends working on the lake

Going to concerts all over Charlotte

Our sisters can’t wait for:

Seeing friends again

Living with roommates

Late-night sweet treats

Football game days

Pilates classes

Apartment life

Bid Day!!!

And, most importantly, being back together

Our summers are just like our chapter - full of variety and commitment. Filled with internships, concerts, camp counseling, travel, family time, or simply slowing down at home, everyone's break looked a little different. That is one of our favorite things about being a member of ADPi. Our chapter is made up of women with different passions, interests, and experiences, but getting to come back together each fall is what makes it so special.

We can’t wait to be back in Columbia, cheer on the Gamecocks, welcome our newest sisters during recruitment, and make even more memories together this semester.

See you soon!
