The Lion Challenge

A major part of Alpha Delta Pi is supporting our philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House Charities. A huge blessing to Beta Epsilon is the fact that our local RMH is just 10 minutes away. Our chapter has been able to build relationships with not only the RMH staff, but the families and community itself. Due to this relationship we are able focus our philanthropy event on the children, and families of RMH. These families and children are so strong, therefore, Alpha Delta Pi, Beta Epsilon wants to hear their roar.

The name of Alpha Delta Pi's Spring Philanthropy event is The Lion Challenge, inspired by the voices of those at RMH. This event is an inflatable obstacle course where teams of 5 compete against others for the title of “Ruler of the Jungle”. Team registration is open to all members of the University of South Carolina at $10 a person, totaling $50 a team. This registration fee includes exclusive food and beverage, along with the opportunity to compete for a prize and an Alpha Delta Pi coach. The coach helps ensure the teams are informed of the events along with providing answers to any questions one may have. Alpha Delta Pi encourages all the students of the University of South Carolina to participate and come together for such an important cause.

As well as, individuals may buy a general admission ticket for $8 each. This ticket provides access to the event, a plate of food, beverage and access to an inflatable interactive. With the entire community supporting The Lion Challenge, one may expect pelicans snowballs, and the Starbucks bike, along with drawings for a Jakes Gift Card, Craft Axe Throwing Gift card and so much more!

Any form of support is greatly appreciated and contributes to the success of The Lion Challenge!
