An Open Letter to PNMs

Dear PNMs,

My name is Sara Hardin and I’m the Formal Recruitment Chair here at Alpha Delta Pi. I can’t believe how fast recruitment is approaching (eeeep!!) and I am literally so excited to meet each and every one of you when you walk through our doors in a few short months.

It is so crazy to think that just 3 years ago I was in your shoes, so nervous and unsure. Never in a million years did I think I could grow to be one of the girls who will be standing in front of you during recruitment, but that’s the beauty of going Greek. You accomplish things you never thought you were capable of, you meet the best friends of your life who push and inspire you, and you become the bold confident girl you’ve always wanted to be. It makes me so happy to know that you all are so close to finding that and are about to experience the BEST four years of your entire life.

Throughout the process, I want you to remember to always be yourself, trust your gut, have fun with it, laugh, cry and never take yourself too seriously. We have all gone through the exact same mix of emotions, and trust me it is all worth it when you put on that t-shirt and run home on Bid Day.

Find the sisterhood that feels like family and soak in every minute of it before you’re a senior like me with tears in your eyes reflecting on your time at the best college in the country. The girls I met through this process in all different houses are still some of my greatest friends to this day, which is why the Greek community at USC is so so special.

I could write a novel about joining a sorority and going ADPi, the two best decisions I have ever made. Get ready for all that’s in store for you and have the time of your life! I can't wait and love you all already!

Pi Love,

Sara

Formal Recruitment Chair

Dear PNMs,

Can you believe one of the most life-altering journeys you will ever embark on is just a few short months away? I hope your excitement outweighs all other emotions toward Sorority Recruitment. For me, Recruitment was the beginning of endless opportunities, the start of forever friendships, and the foundation of the biggest support system I have ever had.

My name is Perry Anne Robinson, and I could not be more humbled or elated to be serving as Alpha Delta Pi’s Recruitment and Marketing Vice President. Through this role, I have been able to fall in love with the recruitment process all over again, and I am overjoyed you get to experience it for the first time.

Here at the Pi Palace, we know it takes courage to go through Recruitment, and it is our goal to ensure that everyone feels welcome in our home. I hope you’re ready to meet us, the real us: the girls who dare to excel in all areas; the girls who have a passion for all causes; the girls who have traveled the world; the girls who relentlessly chase their dreams; the girls who challenge each other to be the best version of themselves; the girls who I am overwhelmingly proud to call my sisters.

There are no words that can truly describe just how incredible the women of this chapter are, so you’ll just have to come meet them yourself! There truly is something unexplainable about this sisterhood we so deeply treasure, and when you walk through our doors for the very first time, we hope you feel it too. Counting down the days until we meet!

Loyally,

PA
